New FlatFlex design (uniform flex for all clubs) carbon shaft for irons. This shaft was designed to achieve sufficient flex at the hand end and high rigidity at the tip end, which is not possible with conventional iron shafts.

The classification on the “AB map [UT / Iron standard]” is “D” “BTI”. However, only the shaft for AW / SW (# 11) was designed for the “B” type which realizes an accurate short approach by eliminating the extra behavior.

The biggest feature of BTI is “the Flex value of all counts is constant”. From long irons to short irons create “a feeling of uniformity”, “stable” “accuracy” is the most important point.

In long irons, a mid trajectory comes from hand bending and high rigidity of the tip. And in the short iron, the FlatFlex design effect is maximized, and the general “Flex flows”, the shaft of “Tip high rigidity + hand grip” tends to be medium to low trajectory But, FlatFlex design makes it easy to hit high trajectory.
