TRIPHAS Basileus δII For Wood Series:
While inheriting the strong hand flexing sought by technical athlete golfers, the action of the tip is designed to ensure that the head returns to “where it belongs” in today’s world where large heads have become the norm. The tip support action was developed for technical hitters who use wrist work as the basis of their lure, and is added to the hand-focused action and tenacity of the tip. The first generation δ was “designed with an extreme hand end-flexibility” by using a material composition based on PAN-based 50t + boron fiber as the main component. The δ Ⅱ was created by resetting that design and adopting a double-bias structure of 80t pitch-based super high modulus fiber + PAN-based high elasticity, the essence of TRIαS technology, to achieve a fusion of “low torque,” “hand flexing tenacity,” and “precisely adjusted tip action. This shaft “fully responds” to the strong wrist work. Designed to allow golfers to fully demonstrate their club-handling skills. Sublimates the impact of a technical hitter’s tenacity to “tap out” into distance and control.
The “Delta II” is classified as a “D” on the AB Map. The design suppresses the flexure from the tip to the middle and enhances the resistance to the thick impact generated by the strong wrist turn of a technical hitter. The C/B value, which is an indicator of the feel of the flex in the middle to the front of the hand, is 0.53 (60/S), a design with a lot of movement. The T/C value, which expresses the ball’s grasping ability, is designed hard at 0.66 (60/S), a setting that eliminates the need to be concerned about the “left” side of the ball. The design concept is to have a sticky hand flex to match the wrist work of technical hitters, and the low-torque design also achieves stable head behavior. The design reduces unnecessary face opening and closing behavior, making it difficult for left and right hand errors to occur. This design allows the player to feel a thicker impact, which is essential for technical hitters. The δ Ⅱ is a reliable shaft that matches technical hitters by utilizing “10 years of accumulated data”.
【Features】
・Luxurious design using pitch-based 80t ultra-high modulus fiber + PAN-based 40t high modulus fiber for the entire length.
・40-R/S/X are designed with PAN 50t super high modulus fibers to achieve the optimum balance of light weight, hardness, and strength.
・Optimal placement of materials for sticking, flexing, returning, and striking.
・Optimal response to wrist work through optimal “hand flexing” design.
・The overall behavior matches technical hitters who place importance on hand flexing and a slight sense of support at the tip.
・Adopted for 50-R/S/X 60-S/X 70-S/X.
