TRIPHAS Basileus Tri:Spada For Wood Series:
The first generation Basileus α (Basileus Alpha), which achieved overwhelming distance performance, has been further brushed up by incorporating cutting-edge materials developed in response to the changing times into the latest design model. In addition to a lighter shaft that meets the needs of the times, the “Basileus Alpha II” lineup includes a lightweight model in the 40g range, which was not possible with the first generation, and is the best weapon for giving shape to golfers’ ideals.(*FW model is also available.)
“Basileus Alpha II” is classified as “A” on the AB map. The design suppresses the flexure from the hand to the middle section, while the tip to the middle section is designed to run strongly. The C/B value, which is an indicator of the feel of the flexing from the tip to the middle of the hand, is set hard at 0.66 (60/S). The shaft is designed to concentrate the power of the swing into the tip to the middle of the shaft to make the ball fly with drive and bounce. The T/C value is 0.48 (60/S), which expresses the ball catching ability, making the ball easy to grab. However, the low-torque design makes it hard to miss to the left even if you hit the ball as hard as you can, so you can feel a thicker impact even though the shaft is designed for swingers. Compared to the original αII, the 70t cross bias seat at the tip suppresses excess torque (torsion), and the movement is sharper and more focused on the swing path. The α is a dependable shaft that matches hard swingers due to its honest tip speed.
【Features】
・Full-length ultra-high modulus 80t carbon fiber + PAN-based 40t, plus ultra-high modulus 70t cross sheet placed at the tip.
・40-R2/R: Super high modulus 80t hybrid sheet for light weight and low torque, and super high modulus 70t cross sheet in the tip section.
・40-S uses a 50t PAN-based sheet that achieves the optimum balance of lightweight + hardness + strength. 40-S uses a PAN 50t sheet that achieves an optimal balance of light weight, hardness and strength.
・The base material is designed according to the specifications to provide an optimal lineup for the target golfer.
・Low torque and consistent action produced by optimal material placement for each model.
・High rigidity from the middle to the hand. Explosive feel from the middle to the tip. Pursuit of distance.
・The hand action is stable, while the tip is more dynamic.
